COFFEE & TEA COFFEE
If we had a house blend, this would be the whole neighborhood. This is the coffee that started it all—the one so good that we built our name around it. Bongo Blend is a medium roast that perfectly captures our love for bold, balanced flavors. Sourced from the world’s top coffee-growing regions—Africa, Asia, and Central America—this blend brings together a naturally sweet and subtly spiced profile.
Our Lead Roaster describes it as smooth honey, bright orange, and creamy milk chocolate—but honestly, you just need to taste it for yourself.

Smooth, comforting and incredibly delicious. We named this coffee after our history with it as it was almost part of our inaugural roster. Fast forward to present time, and like a Hidden Starlight, it found us again reminding us why we loved it so much.
With a versatility and drinkability that will make every sip a pleasure - it embodies everything we desire in Orgullo Coffee.
Roast: Medium
Producer: Exportadora de Café San Vicente
Origin: Santa Barbara, Honduras
Santa Barbara is a department located on the western part of Honduras. This coffee comes from the imposing Santa Barbara Mountain. The mountain is predominantly a reserve of virgin forest declared a national park in 1987. Farms are located on the mountain at an altitude range of 1,000 to 1,650 meters above sea level.
These farms belong to a group of independent producers. About 70% are small producers with production areas of 4.4 hectares on average. These producers are dedicated to upholding their coffee-producing traditions, instilled by their parents and grandparents. Most of them are 3rd or even 4th generation coffee producers.

Aging our coffee beans in bourbon barrels produces a taste that pleases both cravings. We partnered with Leiper's Fork Distillery to combine our two Nashville-based products into one amazing experience.
Unroasted beans sit in charred white oak barrels for just the right amount of time to produce an incredibly smooth, slightly sweet coffee with a complex finish - all with the caffeine pick-me-up and none of the bourbon buzz!
Only available whole bean in 12 oz bags. Whole bean seals in that bourbon flavor and keeps the beans fresher for longer!
Product contains no alcohol.

This natural process coffee is dried inside the cherry before the beans are removed. That extra time with the fruit brings out bold, layered flavors you won’t find in a typical washed coffee. No additives, no gimmicks—just a deeper expression of what coffee already is.
Coffee Review Rating: 93 Points

“Sweetly tart, crisply chocolaty. Raspberry jam, baking chocolate, sassafras, almond butter, freesia in aroma and cup. Briskly sweet acidity, very full, satiny-smooth mouthfeel. Berry-toned finish supported by notes of baking chocolate.”
